ChoicePay is a third-party vendor providing an automated bill payment service to CPL Retail Energy customers.

How to enroll
To enroll in ChoicePay or to speak to a ChoicePay Customer Service Representative, call toll-free 1-877-250-5705. Representatives are available Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm CST and Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you were already enrolled in ChoicePay with AEP you do not need to re-enroll.

How to pay your bill
Once you're enrolled, you must call ChoicePay each month or sign up for AutoPay. You can pay your bill 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Just follow the automated instructions to pay your bill

Fees
ChoicePay charges a fee of $2.95 for payments up to $500. An additional $2.95 is charged for payments over $500. The fee will be deducted from your savings or checking account at the time your payment is made. The amount of your electric bill payment and the ChoicePay transaction fee will be reflected on your checking/savings account statement or credit/debit card statement.
