CPL Retail Energy Automatic Payment Program
Wouldn't it be nice to have one less due date to remember? Just click here and arrange to pay your bill automatically each month from your checking, savings or credit card account, you can enroll with our Online Account Manager. Sign-up is easy and the service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Pay by home banking online payments
Please ensure you use the correct CPL Retail Energy "payee address" when using your personal or business bank account to pay online. Don't forget to include your account number on your online payment to ensure your payment is correctly applied to your account.
No time to enroll in Online Account Manager:
- Monthly billed customers: make a one-time payment to your account with your credit card or debit card.

If paying by mail is your preferred method, tear off the lower portion of your bill and send it with your check to:

Attention CPL PrepaidSM Customers:
To use CPL PrepaidSM, you must have a provisioned smart meter (also known as an Advanced Meter), and an activated SMS text capable phone or an active email address to receive your daily electricity usage communications. Additionally, you cannot be a Critical or Chronic Care patient.
You'll get reminders by text or email about your latest account balance. This will alert you to when you should make a payment. Use your Payment Number when you make any type of payment.
We will provide you with your Payment Number via text/email upon enrollment, and a Membership Card with this number will be mailed to you within 7-10 days. As we process your enrollment, it may take up to 8 hours for your Payment Number to be recognized in our system. Using this Payment Number will ensure your account is credited.

You'll also be able to view account and payment history, keeping you up-to-date on the most recent transactions on your account.

Setting up your account to view your bill is fast and secure.
If this is your first time here, we need to get you logged in! Use your CPL account number as your Login ID and your premise number as the password (both numbers can be found on a recent electric service bill).
Once you're successfully logged in, you'll be required to change your Login ID and password. Choose whatever you like…but don't forget to make note of them!

Just switched to CPL Retail Energy as your electricity provider?
Please note that you will receive your first bill approximately 30 days after we receive the necessary account information from your local utility. We will send out your electric bill once per month. If you have not received a recent bill from us, please call us at 1-866-322-5563 for assistance.
Deferred Payment Plan: If you're in need of a little extra time to pay your bill, look into our 'Deferred Payment Plan' which allows you to pay your past due bill in installments.
